Help With Installing Mods, Tracks Etc..

(Viewable on Desktop PC Only)

It`s never easy installing Mods and tracks into a game if you are not sure or have never done it before.

 

So let us try to explain how it is done...

First of all, locate your main Assetto Corsa Folder,

It is usually in Steam Library

Next, click on Steam Apps Folder

Then the common folder

(if a file you are extracting is called

assettocorsa then you need to extract it here.)

In the common folder you will see

Your Assetto Corsa MAIN DIRECTORY

When you download a file from DropBox it is usually a content folder like on the right.

If it is a content folder that you are downloading then this is the folder you need to extract it to at as shown by the large arrow above.

If it is a cars folder

Then it needs extracting here into the content folder

Click the assetto corsa main directory folder as shown in the box above and you will see it open up and you will see the content folder like on the right.

If it is a tracks folder

Then it needs extracting here into the content folder

Click the assetto corsa main directory folder as shown in the box above and you will see it open up and you will see the content folder like on the right.

If it is an individual car folder like the example below

Then it needs extracting here into the cars folder

Click the assetto corsa main directory folder then the content folder and you will see it open up and you will see the cars folder like on the right.

If it is an individual track folder like the example below

Then it needs extracting here into the tracks folder

Click the assetto corsa main directory folder then the content folder and you will see it open up and you will see the tracks folder like on the right.

If you download and want to install a car setup, then you need to look at your documents folder and in here there is a folder called

Assetto Corsa

Click in here and look for the setups folder

Then all you do is open up the car the setup is for at the track the setup was made for and simply install it there.

Be aware, if you are currently in game and are in the pits at the track you are saving the new setup for

 

Then the setup will not show in your available setup choices to load until you click out of that track and into it again so it refreshes itself.
